-
My Ride K-12 is a parent information portal that will allow parents to easily access their child’s transportation information on their phone, tablet or computer. My Ride K-12 will allow parents to see where their child’s bus is and when their child has boarded or exited the bus at school or their bus stop.
IMPORTANT: The My Ride K-12 app replaces the Ride360 app, which will be phased out on May 1, 2024. To ensure continued access to information about your child’s bus route, please download the new My Ride K-12 app from your favorite app store and log in to your child’s account. You can log in with your existing Ride360 username and password.

How does it work?
Students who ride the bus are given an RFID card. Students will scan their card when they get on and off their bus. The scan will show when students have boarded or exited their bus and will also alert bus drivers if a student boards the wrong bus. Transportation will have a record of attendance on the bus, just like attendance is kept every day in our schools.

Student Safety on School Buses
School Year 2024-25
Dear Parent or Guardian,
The primary objective of the Cherry Creek Schools’ Transportation Department is to safely transport your children to and from school. It takes cooperation and responsible actions by each bus driver, student, parent, teacher, school administrator and the Transportation Department to achieve this goal. Our drivers are required to meet training standards that exceed State and Federal regulations. We rely on all students (supported by their parents or guardians) to follow procedures that contribute to the safety of everyone on the bus.
Under the direction of the Board of Education to provide safe transportation, the district has adopted the Safe Student Transportation Program for use on all school buses. The purpose of this program is to ensure that all students clearly understand and carry out their responsibilities for their own safety and the safety of everyone else who rides the bus. Students who do not ride a bus from home to school/school to home must also understand these requirements in the event that they ride a District bus as part of a field trip or extra-curricular event.
Please review the Transportation Bus Rules with your child and the list of possible Infractions and Consequences. Your acknowledgement lets us know that you have received this information and that your child is aware of the standards that have been implemented under the Safe Student Transportation Program.
If you have any concerns about any of these items, please discuss them with your bus driver, your school administration or call the Transportation Department at 720-554-4647. Failure to acknowledge the above documents does not excuse your child in the event disciplinary action is taken and may result in bus privileges being denied.
Most students do a great job contributing to the safety on their buses. The daily bus ride is part of our students’ education in learning to be good citizens by taking responsibility for their own behavior, safety and the safety of the other students on the bus. As Cherry Creek Schools continue to grow, we need your continuing help to make sure that all students riding our buses are as safe as possible.
Thank you for your help,
Christopher Smith, Superintendent
David Henderson, Director of Operations
Gary Thompson, Director of Transportation
